Surrounded by long-established gardens, Marley House adjoins St Christopher’s Church (part 12th Century) in the Heart of the original Saxon Village.
Although parts of the house are thought to date back to an Elizabethan homestead, the major portion is of late regency origin with high gracious rooms whose tall windows look out on the charming gardens or open fields.

Marley House prides itself on producing freshly cooked appetising meals; in our menus we have featured a range of popular dishes including low fat, high fibre, vegetarian and diabetic meals and, as an alternative to the main meal choices daily, we offer a range of freshly made sandwiches, omelettes and variety of salads.
The Menus are designed to meet the needs of the elderly with the emphasis on varied fresh food from local suppliers and our own herb garden. Any special requirements can be catered for at any time.
Breakfasts and Suppers are brought to Residents rooms, and Luncheons are served in the Dining Room. Those who wish may have meals in their rooms. Tea, Coffee, Wine, sherry and other beverages are available at any time if required, Residents are encouraged to invite guests to lunch or supper with them: notice should be given however.
